  • What is Equine-Assisted Therapy?
It’s a therapeutic approach that uses interactions with horses to support emotional growth, stress relief, confidence, and personal development.
  • Do I need horse experience to participate?
Not at all! No prior riding or horse experience is required. Our sessions are guided and safe for beginners.
  • What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes (preferably boots) are recommended for all sessions. Helmets are provided for riding lessons.
  • Are sessions safe?
Yes. Safety is our top priority. All activities are supervised by a Certified Equine Specialist, and trained horses are used for sessions.
  • Can children participate?
Absolutely! We welcome children and teens for riding lessons and therapy, with age-appropriate instruction.
  • How do I book a session?
You can book directly on our website, call us at 606-219-1096, or email strengththroughhorses@gmail.com
  • What’s the difference between therapy and riding lessons?
Therapy focuses on emotional well-being and personal growth, while riding lessons focus on horsemanship and skill-building.
